Terms of Service — NewtonExam

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the NewtonExam website or platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NewtonExam is a platform that connects students and families ("Students") with independent tutors ("Tutors") for SAT and ACT test preparation. NewtonExam facilitates the search, scheduling, and payment for tutoring sessions but does not itself provide tutoring instruction.

3. Accounts

Students and Tutors must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Tutor Conduct and Responsibilities

Tutors are independent providers of tutoring services and are not employees of NewtonExam. Tutors are responsible for the accuracy of their profile information and for delivering sessions in a professional manner consistent with these Terms.

5. Booking and Payment

Students pay for tutoring sessions securely through NewtonExam at the time of booking. NewtonExam facilitates payment to the Tutor after the session has been provided, less any applicable platform fees.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Limitation of Liability

NewtonExam is not liable for the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any tutoring session. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
